How does G.I. Bill Pay Service do this? Simply stated: G.I. Bill Pay Service pulls dollars out of your U.S bank account, converts those dollars to the local currency and pays your bills. The detailed explanation: G.I. Bill Pay Service is a registered Japanese corporation that contractually works with Global Fidelity Corporation, a registered U.S. corporation. Between these two companies, we electronically debit money from U.S. banks, convert the dollars to the local currency and wire the money to a Japanese bank where it is used to pay bills.
Is it safe? The electronic transactions are made using U.S. Banking System software. Therefore, you are protected from unauthorized transactions against your account by U.S. law. How long has G.I. Bill Pay Service been doing this? G.I. Bill Pay Service has been in business for more than eight years and currently offers service in all of Okinawa, Yokosuka, Sasebo, and Misawa, Japan.
